Three years after he picked them to round out the all-girl pop group he’d been assembling, Sean “Diddy” Combs gave Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods the proverbial boot during Tuesday night’s live season-three finale of “Making the Band 4,” leaving only Aundrea Fimbres, Shannon Bex and Dawn Richard to carry on as Danity Kane. Diddy’s reason for the dismissals? Fame turned O’Day into someone he no longer recognized, he said via satellite, and D. Woods was merely guilty by association, caught up in the shrapnel of O’Day’s celebrity.
But according to Richard, it was O’Day’s image that gave Diddy pause.
“Puff did not like [O'Day's] image … where her image was going for the group,” she told UsMagazine.com “It wasn’t a personal thing,” she added, explaining that O’Day’s recent topless appearance on the cover of Complex magazine wasn’t sending the right message to the group’s fans.
“We had just did a signing with Dollhouse Teen, which is for 13, 14-year-old young girls,” Richard continued. “So, we can’t do that one day and then the next day do an obnoxious cover. … [Diddy] wants the fans, and he says he can’t do that if we can continue to go in the direction that we were going.”
While Diddy said he would work with Woods in the future, O’Day’s time is over. But the group will continue, Richard said.
“Well, Puff told me specifically that Aubrey is no longer in Danity Kane, and Danity Kane will move forward without her,” she explained, adding that Diddy hasn’t mentioned anything about replacing the two singers. “He has not said anything per that. But I think in my heart that he is going to do another show.”

When you look at all of Puffs previous groups like Faith, 112 etc.. You must ask yourself why are they nolonger with him. Well, I believe that he is very sneaky, sneaky! Anyway I don’t want to here anything from Danity Kane unless its the original Danity Kane!!! You fall in love with a group and when the chemistry changes things change. Example Destiny’s Child!!! Why can’t the issues be worked out- It makes me believe that their is some truth to what Aubrey has said. So why does Puff have to be so evil- Lonely dark place- He better watch out!! God provides for everyone and his head is way bigger than Aubrey’s!! He might be sitting in a dark corner by himself!!!!!!

Honestly I don”t care who looked the best or who didn’t the fact remains the same…Aubrey did change drastically I notice that the previous season, but this one she showed her ass off…cuzs i liked her a lot…she was one of my favorites in the group but her ego took over the real Aubery the one everyone loved and fame can do that to a person… 4 instant look at destiney child they had members dropped out and come in and dropped out again but they kept it real with each other and didn’t let the outside world change them indiviually or as a group they bonded and supported each other…sepreated and came back strong…now that a group….so Diddy decsion was a real one wheather u like it or not…i mean don’t get it twisted diddy is an ass to the fullest he should be the last one talking about Fame and ego…but the truth of the matter it business…the other members has to realize yeah there was a bond but the realest stayed for the love of music and there fans…destiney child moved on they lost pple they grew up wit u dig…not someone they knew 4 three years so remember that…so while pple write fuck Aubrey or diddy and d woods let keep it real…the industry no joke u have to be humble and strong…but not one then the other so…i prey that DK goes on cuzs there still three very talented females if u turn ya backs on them because 2 of them just wasn”t feeling it then ya’ll neva was real fans…and prey that they’ll still shine without them and Prey the other 2 have equal success and forget about Diddy support the people of the group danity kane and not the group danity kane…peace……

First, of all Destiny child started out with 4 members -two left and than replaced by two more members with -one leaving and finally down to three members and they moved on and proved to the world they could do it with three. Aubrey brought this on herself and she know it but refuse to accept the responsibility of being all about herself and not the group…posing topless and trying to stand out as the bad girl of the group is not a positive way to get noticed and if that’s Aubrey’s way and not the direction Diddy want the group to take …than Aubrey should do her thang and move on instead of making people believe Dawn is sabotaging the group. Aubrey is just plain old jealous and afraid someone else will stand out more than her. As, far as 112 and faith evans there’s plenty of artist that have moved on from record labels….Jay-z, Janet Jackson, Justin timberlake,The game, Mariah Carey, LL COOl J, TLC, and the list goes on and on. Also, the people you mention haven’t made a nit yet since signing on to other record label..go figure. Obviously Diddy knows what he’s doing.

ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! TO SAY THAT SHE IS THE BEST LOOKING FEMALE IN THE GROUP. WAS THAT BEFORE OR AFTER THE BIG MESS OF PLASTIC SURGERY?? I FEEL DIDDY IF THAT IS THE REAL REASON FOR HIM TO MAKE THE DECISION TO HAVE HER OUT. TO BE HONEST AS A WOMAN YOU SHOULD PORTRAY A CERATIN IMAGE EVEN IF THAT ISNT YOU FOR REAL. THIS LADY AUBREY HAVE SO MANY FEMALES(YOUNG) LOOKING AT HER AND DID SHE FORGET SHE WAS IN THE PUBLIC EYE!!!! SO SERVE THE GROUP RIGHT. THERE IS NOT DANITY KANE WITHOUT AUBREY OR D. WOODS. SO WHAT IF AUBREY WAS A LITTLE MORE OUTGOING THAN THE REST, EVERY GROUP HAS ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE. SHE DESERVES TO BE IN THE LIGHT, JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE GROUP. DIDDY IS NOT GOD, HE IS NOT PERFECT, AND THEY ARE NOT HIS RAGDOLLS. personally, I think that it shouldn’t hav led to the point where diddy had to kick her out. He shoulda just told her to calm down with all that promiscuous stuff bcuz its sending a bad message to fans and if aubrey loved her fans and DK so much, she would stop doing it. As for d.woods, diddy shouldn’t have kicked her out cuz she didn’t do anything wrong. I just hope they work things out between them and they keep going strong and aubrey cleans up her act.
