4/24/2009 - What a finale for Making The Band. Love, hate, music, dancing and NO DREA! Boo at my life at that point. However, overall a productive night I am especially happy for Donnie being able to speak his mind I hope he gets his solo show. Aubrey has her own show coming out and I'm at a loss for this website, where do we go from here?

04/17/2009 - I am at a complete loss for words what in gods name is Diddy thinking through this whole situation? Letting people out of their contracts, splitting the group up, and now...now...firing Aundrea? Are we serious right now? Is this whats poppin in the hood? Dawn? Seriously? Dawn on a solo? The rumors for the past 2 years turn out to finally be true? I'm speechless. I can't believe this. Read down the page for more info on this story. AHHHHHH!!

Donnie speaks out

August 19th, 2008

We all know what today is!!  The return of Making the Band!!!!!!! :)

So heres a quick interview with Donnie c/o SOHH:

With the hit series “Making the Band” returning to MTV tonight and a debut album on the horizon, SOHH sat down with Diddy’s latest protégé, Donnie Klang, to find out how he’s preparing and what he thinks about being labeled the next Justin Timberlake.

Having been likened to fellow blue eyed soul singers like JT and Robin Thicke, Donnie insists that he tried to stay clear of the comparisons for his upcoming disc, Just A Rolling Stone, yet he’s still flattered by the association.

“I’d rather be compared to this artist [Justin] that’s extremely talented and sells multi-platinum album after multi-platinum album and could sell out arenas,” he said. “I take it in stride. I love it.”

After his fellow “MTB” alumni debuted at number one on the charts – Day 26 pushed 190,000 units their first week out whileDanity Kane outsold the guys this year selling 236,000 discs – Donnie admits he is feeling the pressure to be as successful.

“It’s more so that I’m anxious,” he revealed. “I can’t wait ‘til it’s really out there and everybody could hear it front to back. I know there’s a lot of fans out there that have been waiting for a long time for it to come out and it’s finally coming.”

Just a Rolling Stone will feature production from The Dream, Seven, Mario Winans and Danja along with songwriting from The Clutch collective.

As for what fans can expect from this season of “Making the Band” Donnie said there is no shortage of drama.

“It was 11 of us crammed into one tour bus and we were in Vegas for about 5 days so what happens in Vegas will be on this season of ‘Making the Band.’”
